An interview with Robert Deodaat Emile ‘Ootje’ Oxenaar (and there’s a hundred-guilder name for you right there). He designed Dutch banknotes from the sixties to the eighties, which “many consider to be the most beautiful money in the world”. I remember using these in Holland in 1994 and being struck by them. He even managed to sneak in a few Easter eggs under everyone’s noses.
